Restructuring Expertise Mr.
Gineris is a seasoned expert in the areas of financial restructuring,
valuation and recapitalization. He has specialized expertise in investing
amidst financial distress and understanding the related issues involved,
such as the areas of fiduciary duties to creditors and equity holders and
the possible concerns associated with fraudulent conveyance and lender
liability. He is also a business expert in the area of Chapter 11.
While at Alex. Brown &
Sons in New York, Mr. Gineris led many of the Firm’s notable
restructuring assignments including engagements involving Trans World
Airlines, Lomas Financial Corporation, MEI Diversified, Carter Hawley Hale
Stores, Revco D.S. and Best Products. Prior to Alex. Brown, Mr. Gineris was
a Vice President with Bear, Stearns & Co. where he worked with Global
Marine, Inc., Cardis Corporation, and the senior management of many middle
market companies. Mr. Gineris has served as an expert witness in the area of
financial restructuring and valuation and has testified as an expert before
the major bankruptcy courts in the United States, most notably including the
Delaware, New York and Texas Federal jurisdictions.
